Music.com, an online music company, received millions of visitors
during its peak activity 1999 to 2001 while I was employed
there. The website featured downloadable music, current music
news, album reviews, viral marketed animated e-cards, artist
interviews and served as a promotion tool for many new artists.
I was a key player in the design of three successful relaunches
of its own web site including the era of the site shown here.
I also developed artist promotion sites for Lou Reed, Henry
Rollins, Danzig, Jill Sobule, Serge Lopez, Samhain, Paul Overstreet,
R.L. Burnside and SClub7. Using Flash, I independently created
e-cards for Willa Ford's single, "I Wanna Be Bad"
and Placebo's "Special K". Collaborating with co-worker
David Hatchard saw the creation of an e-card for Ray-J's "Wait
a Minute" featuring Lil' Kim. Music.com ceased operations
in June 2001 and a smaller scale version of the site with
new management exists today.
